Service Advisor

Full time permanent Service Advisor. Interested applicants will have the opportunity to assume additional management roles and expand their business skills into shop management.

Main duties

  • Book customer appointments
  • Point of contact for customer inquiries
  • Estimate required work as per technician recommendations / diagnosis
  • Assign work to technicians, converse with technicians regarding required work and diagnosis

  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to operate efficiently in fast paced environment
  • Computer literate, strong typing skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance considered an asset
  • Prior experience in role of Service Advisor considered an asset

  • Apprentice Automotive Technician

    Qualifications

  • Strong interest in pursuing automotive technical training as a career
  • Minimum completion of high school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in the automotive trades preferred, but not necessary
  • Basic safety equipment (CSA certified footwear and eye protection)
  • Willing to invest in tools and equipment required to perform automotive repairs

  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
  • Assist with daily shop maintenance and upkeep on a daily basis
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools

  • Ability to work full time, overtime as required, often on short notice.
  • Willing to provide or invest in adequate tools required to service varied makes and models of vehicles
  • Must demonstrate ability to learn and follow systems accurately

    Main duties

  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic tools and other testing devices
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel, brake, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
  • Advise customers on work performed
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed

  • Must demonstrate ability to learn and follow systems accurately

  • Krown Applicator / Detailer

    Candidates will be responsible for applying Krown rust inhibitor product to various automotive vehicles. Also cleaning and detailing of vehicle interior and exteriors.

    Prior experience preferred, but not necessary. Full training will be provided to individuals demonstrating ability.

    The ideal applicant would have a strong interest in learning about the automotive industry, and demonstrate the following characteristics:
